| Day 1:
Day 1: Chiangrai - Pakbeng |

Pick up at the hotel or airport in Chiangrai and transfer to Hueysay. After immigration, take a scenic boat trip along the Mekong River to Pakbeng. Overnight.

| Day 2:
Day 2: Pakbeng - Luang Prabang |
|
|
Breakfast at hotel (optional walk to Pakbeng market, where people from the surrounding villages of minorities exchange their goods). Continue the beautiful cruise along the river to Luang Prabang. Stop at a fishing village for picnic lunch and observe traditional process to obtain local rice alcohol. Continue to Pak Ou Village at the mouth of the Nam Ou river, visit Tamting caves of a 1000 Buddha statues. Arrive Luang Prabang before sunset. Transfer to the hotel.

| Day 3:
Day 3: Luang Prabang - Xiengkhouang |

Breakfast at hotel. City tour of Luangprabang and temples including National Museum, visit to the Kuangsi water fall, picnic lunch at local village. Return to Luang Prabang for flight to Xiengkhouang. Overnight at the hotel.

| Day 4:
Day 4: Xiengkhouang - Vientiane |
|
|
Breakfast at hotel. Visit to the renowned Plain of Jars which is a vast plain studded with thousands of varied size jars of unknown origin. Transfer to airport for flight back to Vientiane. Evening free at leisure.

| Day 5:
Day 5: Vientiane |
|
|
Breakfast. Excursion around the city visiting That Luang (1566), the revered Wat Prakeo (1565), Wat Sisaket, the Arch Monument and the Central Market. Lunch. Continue to the Nam Ngum Dam and Lake to see the floating fisherman villages. Return to Vientiane.

| Day 6:
Day 6: Vientiane - Pakse |

Breakfast. Transfer to airport for flight to Pakse, Visit to Sexet, Paksong, and Tat Fane Waterfalls. Picnic Lunch. Overnight

| Day 7:
Day 7: Pakse - Vat Phou - Khong Island |
|
|
Breakfast. Excursion by boat trip down the Mekong River to visit the Khmer temples of Vat Phou. Continue by car around Khong Island. Picnic Lunch en-route. Overnight.

| Day 8:
Day 8: Khong Island 4000 islands of the Mekong |
|
|
Breakfast. Full day sightseeing to the main attraction of Khong Island - Muang Khong and temple of Vat Phoukhaokeo, then boat trip to visit Somphamit water fall, Ban Khone and car to Peng waterfall. Picnic lunch. Later afternoon back to Pakse by car for overnight.

Day 9: Pakse - Chongmek (Thailand) |

Breakfast. Transfer to the southern border crossing point of Chongmek to Thailand territory. Transfer to the Ubonratchathani Airport in Thailand for departure.
